Shared Living Pathway

OUR FABRIC HOME

The main FABRIC Homes are six-bedroom houses in the city centres of Swansea and
Neath. FABRIC Kids have their own bedroom with a shared kitchen, bathrooms and living
room.

The house is staffed 24/7, with support available between 7.30am and 11.30pm.
FABRIC uses the TRM (Trauma Recovery Model) as the basis for the support we provide our FABRIC Kids. We use this structured approach throughout our  assessments, daily work, support plans and key working, through to plans for moving into more independent living. All FABRIC Kids are offered formal key working sessions to help with any areas of life they would like to develop. Our aim is to support our FABRIC Kids to move towards developing confidence and self belief in creating goals for a positive future, including engaging in education/work/training.

Tailored floating support, keyworking and phone support is available from the main FABRIC House.

MAKING A REAL DIFFERENCE

“Even though I haven’t had the best backgrounds FABRIC saw the best in me, they gave me the chance to build my courage and future. They supported me through every step of my life, they made sure I went to college and could be the best version of me.” Charlotte, 19
